Centre City Gym & Fitness Center

CC gym and fitness is hands down the best gym around. Family owned and loved by its patrons. The owner Ed takes pride in his facility and it shows. He takes his time to learn everyone's name and is always willing to offer advice to help further your strength training. Show up often and be respectful and you'll see how that energy spreads across the gym. Its like the gym version of cheers in there and its great. On top of all that the equipment selection is above and beyond anything these commercial gyms have. They also have everything you need to help fuel your workout (water, energy drinks, protein bars) at a very fair price. I recommend this gym to anyone serious about strength training and bettering themselves. This place breeds champions.

The bells and whistles here are the people. Owner Ed knows everybody’s name, cares about his clients, offers excellent advice. Ed’s son Dom is always helpful and professional. It’s a real gym.

I was a member of Centre City Gym for over a year. During last visit for a quick workout before closing, I was repeatedly asked to pay, despite not realizing my membership had expired. While I was working out I was approached three times regarding payment. After my workout, I went to fetch my credit card intending to resolve the issue, but was followed by two staff members and asked again. This left me feeling uncomfortable. When I returned to pay, I overheard the same individuals making comments about people spending money on other things instead of gym memberships. Despite this uncomfortable experience, I still paid for the renewal. However due to this experience, I will not be returning.

Centre City Gym is a great 'no nonsense' gym with everything you need. The community is very friendly and helpful and the owner Ed goes the extra mile to learn everyone's name and greet them whenever they arrive. Don't be intimidated by all the 'big guys' you see going in and out. They are some of the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure to meet! Stop by and give this place a try, and you just might love it there as much as I do.
